After my last post about one of our Business Fastlane Members who earned money selling a product she found in a catalog, I had several people ask me questions:

Question: Did she have to buy and stock the product?
Answer: No the company dropped shipped the orders. Susan took the orders by mail,  forwarded 1/2 the money to the company along with the customer mailing address and the company shipped the product.

Question: Why would companies do this?
Answer: Not all will. You need to approach them in a professional way and ask if you can market their product and ask if they drop ship. They really have nothing to lose and if they think you can make sales they will often say yes.

Question: Is there any guarantee that a publication will mention your product?
Answer: No. There is no guarantee. If you want that take out an ad. But the ad could cost you thousands of dollars. So even though there is no guarantee your costs are almost nothing to try it.
